Where it all began...

I grew up in the 90s, the era of mixtapes and floppy discs, cereal-box chaos, and color that refused to stay inside the lines. My childhood was drenched in sunshine, street races down the cul-de-sac, and endless spins around the Hills Hoist while the spinklers were on. Those were the days that taught me how magic hides in the everyday - in scraped knees, climbing trees, laughter that echoes through the street, and the freedom of pure, joyful play.

When I became a mum, I made a promise that my kids would grow up in a world just as bright - filled with color, laughter, and life. That promise became Chunky Munky Co., my love letter to childhood in all its cheeky, chaotic, technicolor glory.

The spark that started the rebellion

Somewhere along the way, the world decided children’s joy had to match a beige aesthetic. Playrooms turned neutral, clothes muted and minimalised, personalities blurred and toned down. I couldn’t watch another childhood fade into oatmeal... or see another child receive a beige, boucle ball-pit with white balls as a present. 

So I started a rebellion, not with noise or rules, but with color. The Rainbow Rascals Club was born: a worldwide, child-led movement to banish the beige and keep childhood colorful. This collection is their uniform.

The Rainbow Rascals Club is for the parents who still hum to 80s & 90s tunes and the little ones turning up the volume on life.
